The program expansion made possible by the New Horizons Foundation and its Summit Challenge offers a unique opportunity for dedicated individuals and corporations to make investments now to secure the future strength, excellence and competitive edge of one of America's key industries.

The sheet metal industry benefits from the unique purpose and structure of the New Horizons Foundation. The prestigious Summit Challenge Council, meeting at least twice annually, will provide major investors a real and meaningful voice in the selection and implementation of the New Horizons' agenda.

Within the framework and governance of the foundation, major donors to the Summit Challenge will work in partnership with the leadership of the Foundation to advance both the general program activities for which financial commitments will be secured and the strategic elements of the resource development program.

Summit Challenge Council leaders will have hands-on opportunities to help select programs and projects for the Foundation agenda and will receive periodic reports describing the use of Foundation income.

The Summit Challenge Council will analyze, select, and recommend projects from each of the program mandates as described above, and will identify state-of-the-art program dynamics in years to come. Each selected project will have an assigned Summit Challenge Council Task Force to identify and weigh the value of projects -- calling upon the advice, experiences, and suggestions of all members of the industry.
